A Rare Nice Thing

Robert Palmer’s cover version of “Didn’t Mean To Turn You On”; real good. I always frown on covers, but this is the rare exception. I miss Robert Palmer, and his sexy, catatonic girls.
A second nice thing today: In and out of the DMV (renewing my license) in exactly 11 minutes. I timed it.
Wow–eight years gone. Last time, in 2002, my whole world was different.
“Did you see what I did?”
“You thought I was gonna go this way, but I went that way…”
“I saw what you did.”
